Screen Shots of Visual CE Applications

When writing some documentation on your Visual CE application, you might want to make some screen shots. There are utilities you can use to do this.

There is a utility from Field Software (http://www.fieldsoftware.com) called PocketShot that can do this. PocketShot runs on the handheld and creates a very good image. SYWARE's technical writers used PocketShot when they created the SYWARE documentation.

Alternatively, in the downloads section of Microsoft's Pocket PC site (http://www.pocketpc.com) you can download some PowerToys. One of the PowerToys is a remote controller. When the remote controller is running on your desktop, a window will appear. You can "cut" this window the clipboard (ALT+PRINT SCREEN) and then paste it into your document.
