Product Upgrade Information

Visual CE® Information

Visual CE® is compatible with all Windows Mobile devices: Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition, Smartphones, (Professional, Standard, and Classic devices) and Windows Mobile based tablets and specialized devices.

Upgrades from any previous version to the latest version are available at the following rates:

• SYWARE has discontinued selling the Lite Edition, please email us about a special deal on upgrading to the Personal Edition
• Any previous Personal Edition to the current version - $45 (US)
• Any previous Professional Edition to the current version - $135 (US)
• SYWARE has discontinued selling the Enterprise Edition, please email us about a special deal on upgrading to one of the Mobile360 Suites, or about upgrading each component separately.

As always, upgrades between Editions are available for just the difference in price, regardless of which previous version you own. For example, you can upgrade from any previous Personal Edition to the current version of the Pro edition for $270 (US), the difference in price between the Personal and Pro Editions.

Point release upgrades (e.g. 12.x to 12.x) are available free of charge. Please follow the directions below to request a free point release upgrade, or to order a charged upgrade.

To receive an upgrade, you can request it via email. Please include the following information:

• The buyer's full name
• Company name, if applicable
• Date of purchase of original edition
• Edition (Lite, Personal, Pro, mobile360)
• Upgrade desired (Personal, Pro, or a mobile360)
• Where purchased

There is no need to send credit card information. We will send you a reply email explaining how you can purchase your upgrade online for the reduced price or download your free point release.

We will assume you want your upgrade emailed to the address from which we receive the message, unless other instructions are included. If you want the software physically shipped, please include a shipping address and phone number. Shipping charges for CD-only are $15 in the US, $50 outside the US.

 

ReportCE® Information

Report CE® is compatible with all Windows Mobile devices: Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition, Smartphones, (Professional, Standard, and Classic devices) and Windows Mobile based tablets and specialized devices.

Upgrades from any previous version to the latest version are available at the following rates:

• Any previous Personal Edition to the current version - $25 (US)
• Any previous Professional Edition to the current version - $90 (US)

As always, upgrades between Editions are available for just the difference in price, regardless of which previous version you own.

Point release upgrades (e.g. 5.x to 5.x) are available free of charge if you purchased your Report CE after to 1/1/2007. Please follow the directions below to request a free point release upgrade, or to order a charged upgrade.

• mEnable 1-Pack to mEnable 1-user (no server, no SDK) - $20 (US)
• mEnable 10-Pack to mEnable Server, SDK, 10-users - $200 (US)
• mEnable 10-Pack to mEnable 10 Additional Users (no server, no SDK) - $100 (US)
• mEnable 100-Pack to mEnable Server, SDK, 100-users - $600 (US)
• mEnable 100-Pack to mEnable 100 Additional Users (no server, no SDK) - $500 (US)

Manage CE is now included as part of our mEnable product. If you wish to upgrade your Manage CE 1.x licenses, please contact us directly.

SYWARE has discontinued selling FoneDB. Please contact us about a special deal on upgrading to the Visual CE Personal Edition which now supports your smartphone.
