News from SYWARE: sqlceEnable now supports SQL Everywhere.
SQL Server 2005 Everywhere Edition (SQL Everywhere) is the newest iteration of the Windows Mobile supported SQL Server database commonly referred to as SQLCE. The vast majority of Visual CE users do not use SQLCE, choosing instead the advantages offered by Visual CE's free, included database. However some of our customers, particularly those using Report CE to augment applications built with the .Net tools, rely on SQLCE as their underlying database. We are happy to announce to them that sqlceEnable now supports all three iterations of SQLCE, including the newest, SQL Everywhere. Learn more about SQL Everywhere in this update from Microsoft released On April 6th, 2006.
