FileMaker Pro, the newest edition of the company's award-winning database
and forms development software for Pocket PC and Windows CE handheld computers.
The latest release adds support for FileMaker Pro databases, allowing
users to create mobile forms in minutes, then transfer and synchronize
data between their Pocket PC or Windows CE devices and FileMaker Pro on
the desktop.
Visual
CE for FileMaker Pro provides a quick way to create forms and database
applications without programming. Users simply decide what information
they need, then use a rich set of drag and drop controls to customize
their electronic forms. Data can be easily transferred and synchronized
with FileMaker Pro, as well as other ODBC-based desktop database programs.
Records can be viewed and modified on either the handheld device or the
desktop computer.
Visual
CE for FileMaker Pro features a flexible array of development tools,
including pop-up word lists, grid control, macro programs, and font and
button control. Multiple handhelds can be synchronized to the same desktop
table without the use of clumsy query tables. In addition, full support
for Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) devices allows users to easily
transmit and track remote information, such as environmental data or equipment
located in the field.

& Delivery
Visual CE for FileMaker Pro
works with FileMaker Pro 5.0 and higher. Applications can be created on
any Pocket PC or Windows CE handheld, as well as on any Windows-based
desktop system. The software is available in four editions. The Lite
Edition is priced at $19.99, quantity one. The Personal
Edition, with full forms design, relational database, and synchronization
capabilities, is priced at $129, quantity one. The Professional
Edition includes all the features of Personal Edition and royalty-free
distribution rights for $399. The Enterprise
Edition includes all the features of the Professional Edition plus
SYWARE's Report CE software for $599.
